What is Points Changes?

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) relies on real-time data from Opta, however player stats are often refined after a match. A single action like a big chance created, or a tackle can trigger a "points change event."

FPL doesn't update these changes from Opta in game until the following day typically, and previously there was no visibility of any upcoming changes, often catching managers by surprise who lost/gained points. This has been solved.

Note: This is separate to the Bonus Points page and Defensive Contributions which track Bonus + Defcon live during games to be added during or post-match.

How to Read the Widget

In the example above Ndiaye will gain +1 Bonus Point after moving from 1 to 2, and Chalobah will gain +2 Defcon points after moving from 9 to 11, tipping him over the threshold. Points changes can go the opposite way.

Status Indicators

There are three statuses against Points Changes:

Live: FPL has updated the game, these points are now in your total. ⏳ Pending: Opta has recorded the stat change, but FPL hasn't processed the points yet. ❌ Expired: The Gameweek has ended or "locked," so further stat corrections won't change your score. Points are locked in 1 hour after full time of the final match of the gameweek.

The tool is completely free to use, if you'd like to support the running costs of this website and unlock all the premium features please consider subscribing.
