Who are the best players we should be buying for GW35? Some of you have even got your wildcards active, so this will help you structure your squad effectively for the run-in. We've also got DGW36 to weigh up — I recommend waiting until later in the week before making any transfers in case a potential DGW announcement affects your plans. Villa, Spurs, Man City, Bournemouth, Palace, Wolves all have a chance. Could be all of them... or none!

🧤 Goalkeepers

It's actually Pickford topping the table — perhaps for the first time all season — with 4 points. They're home to already-relegated Ipswich, and in GW37 they also face relegated Southampton, both home fixtures. So if a DGW36 announcement drops, the perfect wildcard play is to pick a DGW36 keeper, since they blank in 37 (when Everton have Southampton home).

In second place, it's Raya, who is home to Bournemouth — well, joint-second in fact, with Flekken and Martínez, all on 3.8 points. Bournemouth will be without Evanilson for their trip to the Emirates unless they appeal his red card, which should boost Arsenal’s clean sheet chances.

The big talking point this week is teams playing in Europe either side of GW35 — we’re talking Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs, and Chelsea. The question is how much they rotate and how much of a performance drop we might see. For Arsenal, it’s not a huge concern: it’s a very organised, tight system. Even when Arteta rotates, we’re talking White instead of Timber, maybe Zinchenko or Tierney for Lewis-Skelly. Saliba and Kiwior likely start at CB regardless — still a world-class backline 🔐.

So if your wildcard is active, the goalkeepers to keep in mind are Martínez, Kepa, Henderson, Sa — they could have a DGW36. Vicario, Ederson, or Ortega could too, but they’re less appealing.
