Predicted Lineups for ALL 20 Premier League teams: Gameweek 9

Doing the research so you don’t have to! 👨‍💻

Averaging 88% accuracy so far! ✅

💎🟢🟡🟠🔴 = Likelihood of a start

(%) = Accuracy on previous predictions

🆕 = New players in the lineup

⚠️ = Concerns

ARSENAL: (88%)

🆕 Havertz, Bruno G, Calafiori, Timber

⚠️ Calafiori, Saliba, Rice, Saka, Tzolis, Madueke, Dowman

With Saka, Madueke and Dowman all likely to be out, it makes the right wing spot a complete unknown.

Havertz has experience of playing right wing, so him there means it’s likely Gyökeres up top, but this could also be Merino.

Calafiori is a total unknown, but I’m confident Rice will be fine.

Bruno G or Lewis-Skelly the usual dilemma, but Merino could play there too.

Timber and White both played 45 midweek, could be either of them.

  • 99%: Gabriel, Konsa, Raya
  • 85%: Odegaard, Rice
  • 70%: Gyökeres, Havertz, Eze
  • 50%: Bruno G, Timber
  • <50%: Calafiori

ASTON VILLA: (88%)

🆕 Barkley

⚠️ Wan-Bissaka, Ruggeri, Onana

Emery fully rotated midweek, but what surprised me was that Gomes played the full 90 whilst Barkley made a cameo.

Maybe because Emery doesn’t trust Barkley or Goretzka to fill that role, but I think this indicates Barkley could be in line for a start.

Alysson is the other maybe, with 4 other players in competition, but he was also rested midweek.

  • 99%: Jackson, Manzambi, Maatsen, Kamara, Cash, Suzuki
  • 85%: McGinn, Lindelöf
  • 70%: Pau
  • 50%: Barkley, Alysson

BOURNEMOUTH: (93%)

🆕 Christie

⚠️ Scott

Confirmed that Kroupi is not ready to start, so usual minutes for the attack.

Christie and Kluivert the two at risk at the moment, with Cook, Adli, Doak and Brooks all options to take their spots.

  • 99%: Evanilson, Tavernier, Rayan, Adams, Truffert, Hill, Silva
  • 85%: Smith, Petrović
  • 70%: Kluivert
  • 50%: Christie

BRENTFORD: (89%)

🆕 Janelt

⚠️ Henry, Yarmoliuk

The midweek team gives us a good idea of starters here, I think Ajer is still safe for another week but Collins could be coming back in very soon.

You’ll notice I’ve lowered Thiago off of nailed, I’m very confident he still starts but Wilson has presented himself as an option and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him start 1 game in the league at some point.

Sangaré fine to start with Janelt back but Yarmoliuk still suspended.

  • 99%: Kelleher
  • 85%: Thiago, Schade, Janelt, Van Den Berg, Kayode
  • 70%: Lewis-Potter, Sangaré, Jensen
  • 50%: Dango, Ajer

BRIGHTON: (92%)

⚠️ Kadıoğlu, Struijk, Andres, Mitoma, Azeez

Unchanged.

With Kadıoğlu a doubt and Wieffer back in contention, we could see a change at right back.

Andres should be fine, and I think will be preferred in this game over Hinshelwood, making Groß more advanced.

  • 99%: De Cuyper, Groß, Vušković, Verbruggen
  • 85%: Kostoulas, Gomez
  • 70%: Ayari, Andres, Boscagli, Dunk
  • 50%: Kadıoğlu

CHELSEA: (83%)

🆕 Welbeck, Palestra, Fofana

⚠️ Martinez, Hato, Lacroix, Gusto, James, Gittens, João Pedro

Despite João Pedro being out it’s not certain Welbeck will start, with numerous other attackers being options for Alonso.

Palmer is available after serving his suspension midweek.

Lacroix out with a hamstring issue should mean Fofana starts here, despite how poor he was midweek.

Chavarría is back in contention.

  • 99%: Rogers, Palmer, Penders
  • 85%: Caicedo, Neto, Colwill, Acheampong
  • 70%: Fofana, Henderson
  • 50%: Palestra

COVENTRY: (91%)

🆕 Mfuni

⚠️ Thomas, Amenda, Wright

Thomas a big doubt for this one, it’s more likely he doesn’t start but he’s not confirmed out.

Otherwise, more of the same, those in yellow the most likely to change.

  • 99%: Rudoni, Grimes, Dasilva, Pinnock, Van Ewijk, Rushworth
  • 85%: Thomas-Asante
  • 70%: Cherif, Sakamoto, Yirenkyi, Mfuni

CRYSTAL PALACE: (85%)

🆕 Henderson

⚠️ Tomiyasu, Chadi Riad, Timber, Sarr, Strand Larsen

Henderson returned midweek, will come straight back into the side.

Sarr injured and Timber a doubt means it should be Pino and McNeil as the 10s.

I think Nketiah has a decent chance of starting, he looked great midweek.

  • 99%: Mitchell, Disasi, Khalaifi, Richards, Henderson
  • 85%: Wharton, Kamada, Mateta, Canvot
  • 70%: Yeremy
  • 50%: McNeil

EVERTON: (84%)

🆕 Hackney, Branthwaite

⚠️ Branthwaite, Grealish

It was a solid performance midweek from Everton, and I’m predicting Hackney to make his way into the starting lineup.

Branthwaite missed out last week due to concussion protocol, I imagine he comes straight back in.

No info on whether Grealish will be involved.

  • 99%: Barry, Dewsbury-Hall, Garner, Tarkowski, Pickford
  • 85%: Mykolenko
  • 70%: George, Branthwaite
  • 50%: Johnson, Hackney, Röhl

FULHAM: (94%)

🆕 Berge

⚠️ Sessegnon

Berge vs Larsson the only real dilemma in this lineup.

Charles and Affengruber were fully rested midweek.

  • 99%: Iwobi, Bobb, Robinson, Bassey, Affengruber, Leno
  • 85%: King, Gonzalo, Charles
  • 70%: Castagne
  • 50%: King

HULL: (89%)

⚠️ Gourna-Douath

Unchanged.

Lots of changes could happen, but difficult to say as the performance against Brentford was pretty decent.

  • 99%: McBurnie, Slater, Egan, Ajayi, Tzolakis
  • 85%: Belloumi, Mendy
  • 70%: Coyle
  • 50%: Iroegbunam, Giles
  • <50%: Stroud

IPSWICH: (86%)

🆕 Clarke

⚠️ Lukić

Emersonn’s subs are getting shorter and shorter, I’m expecting Flemming to eventually start a game.

Palacios the most nailed in midfield, Lukić is thought to take Florentino’s spot when he’s back.

3 options for left wing, none of them stand out as first choice.

  • 99%: Enciso, Davis, O'Shea, Diop
  • 85%: Fatawu, Palacios, Ouattara, Walton
  • 70%: Florentino, Emersonn
  • <50%: Clarke

LEEDS: (93%)

🆕 Okafor, Elvedi

⚠️ Rodon, Stach

Okafor was benched last week due to fitness, I’d imagine he starts this one.

Elvedi was out the squad entirely due to injury, but Bijol did contribute towards a clean sheet so less confident on that change.

Aaronson could be Stach if he’s fit enough, Wilson or even Nmecha so extremely low confidence there.

  • 99%: Calvert-Lewin, Guðmundsson, Ampadu, Bogle, Muharemović, Justin, Trafford
  • 85%: Tanaka
  • 70%: Okafor
  • 50%: Elvedi
  • <50%: Aaronson

LIVERPOOL: (92%)

⚠️ Frimpong, Muñoz, Szoboszlai, Ekitiké

Unchanged.

Muñoz and Szoboszlai “have a chance” to make this one, but given Szoboszlai was rushed back then immediately injured I think it would be a poor decision to start him here.

  • 99%: Isak, Van Dijk, Araujo, Jacquet, Alisson
  • 85%: Wirtz, Barcola, Mac Allister, Gravenberch
  • 70%: Gakpo, Kerkez

MAN CITY: (88%)

🆕 Bouaddi, Matheus

⚠️ Semenyo

Ok, a few big calls here.

Firstly, I’m saying Guéhi is benched, I was surprised to see him get a full 90 midweek with Khusanov fully rested, maybe I’ve read too much into it but I think this could be the week.

The 5 that were given a holiday all should start, and I’m confident on Doku starting.

Less so on Ndiaye, but I think he will get the nod, and I’ve gone with a midfield 3 with no Foden or Cherki, I think they’re more likely for the Champions League instead, as Bouaddi was taken off at half time.

I hope City fans like this prediction!

  • 99%: Haaland, Anderson, Donnarumma
  • 85%: Doku, Enzo, Gvardiol, Rúben
  • 70%: Ndiaye
  • 50%: Bouaddi, Khusanov, Matheus N

MAN UNITED: (88%)

🆕 Cunha, Bruno, Martínez

⚠️ Shaw, Mainoo, Rashford, Dorgu, Ugarte, Šeško

Bruno should return to the XI after clearing the air with Carrick.

Cunha I have very little confidence on, just think Carrick will want to change something, although wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Tielemans start and Bruno wide again.

Šeško injured and Cunha so out of favour massively boosts Mbeumo’s chances.

  • 99%: Mbeumo, Lammens
  • 85%: Dalot, Maguire
  • 70%: Bruno, Amad, Baleba, Yoro
  • 50%: Santos, Martínez
  • <50%: Cunha

NEWCASTLE: (85%)

🆕 Elanga, Wissa

⚠️ Livramento, Miley, Osula, Fernández-Pardo

The Thiaw and Botman double benching came as a big shock to us, but Schär and Burn kept a clean sheet so I don’t see why they don’t start again!

Elanga made 2 cameos, think he returns to the XI here, and Osula is a doubt after an ankle injury midweek, so Wissa probably starts.

  • 99%: Nico, Hall, Hornicek
  • 85%: Joelinton, Barnes, Dedić
  • 70%: Wissa, Willock, Burn
  • 50%: Elanga, Schär

NOTTINGHAM FOREST: (84%)

🆕 Hudson-Odoi

⚠️ Savona, Ndoye, Domínguez, Igor Jesus

Ndoye is a big doubt this week, Hudson-Odoi likely to replace him in the lineup.

With Milenković back Diomande finds himself on the bench, as he plays as the central centre back.

  • 99%: Gibbs-White, Murillo, Milenković, Sels
  • 85%: Delap, Williams, McAtee, Muñoz
  • 70%: Hudson-Odoi, Schlager
  • 50%: Jair Cunha

SPURS: (82%)

🆕 Solanke, Porro

⚠️ Tosin, Bentancur, Sávio, Bergvall, Mudryk, Xavi, Odobert

Biggest question mark is Maddison’s fitness, I feel as this is once again a close scare for him he’ll be on the bench for this one, leaving a spot for Marmoush as the #10 and Solanke up top, Tel left.

This makes sense given the matchup against a Palace back 3, likely to be a low block and requiring physical presence.

Udogie back fit, could start over Robertson, and Porro should now return to the XI over Gray.

  • 99%: Tonali, Van De Ven, Van Hecke, Kinsky
  • 85%: Marmoush, Kudus, Fernandes
  • 70%: Porro, Solanke, Robertson
  • 50%: Tel

SUNDERLAND: (90%)

🆕 Diarra

⚠️ Mukiele, Ballard, Mundle, Isidor

This was a tough one to put together.

Meunier back, Diarra back, Danso back, Mukiele a slight doubt, I could have a lot wrong here.

There’s also a huge difference between who fans are wanting to see (Fofana, Ta Bi, Ahoka) and who Le Bris is favouring.

About 5 options for the right winger.

  • 99%: Le Féee, Xhaka, Roefs
  • 85%: Sadiki, Brobbey, Reinildo
  • 70%: Mukiele
  • 50%: Angulo, O'Nien, Hume
  • <50%: Diarra
