Well what an underwhelming gameweek it was before the break, 46 points and no rank movement. Missed all the action on Saturday's games at a wedding, Bruno's late goal, Sanchez keeping a clean sheet after the controversial King goal ruled out. Sunday I was buzzing for the games with Reijnders, Murillo, Salah, Gakpo, Rogers, Gyokeres, Watkins all to play and not a single one of the 7 players returned. It's when the highly owned assets return that it becomes a killer, Joao Pedro in particular scoring, Haaland scoring, Van Dijk clean sheet. But yeah the major positive was Bruno captain for the 20 pointer. I'm quite looking forward to this gameweek for a number of reasons though, the big decision is whether to cut the losses with Rogers and Watkins or not. 🤔

My Team & Plans for Gameweek 4
In Goal
Sanchez has Brentford away. He's been a good pick so far, with 2 clean sheets in 3, we'll ignore the fact it should be 1 in 3. I'm still working out what to make of Brentford, the win against Villa in GW2 was impressive but to follow that up losing to Sunderland is shocking. Chelsea's 2.4 expected goals conceded ranks third best after the opening 3 gameweeks.

In Defence
It's Andersen, Pedro Porro and Romero.
My defence feels a bit weak this week given no Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle coverage who top the clean sheet odds, Palace on 42%. Fulham are home to Leeds though which is a really good fixture for Andersen on paper.

West Ham are looking a bit unpredictable themselves like Brentford really, 8 goals conceded the opening two games then a 3 - 0 win over Forest before the break away forcing us to readjust a bit. In hindsight diversifying with Lacroix over Romero would've been smart, who has done very well for defensive contributions and Palace home to Sunderland this week. I'm looking to pivot a defender to Gabriel in GW7 but realistically it's probably not a Spurs defender that would make way, Murillo is the obvious one to sell after his good fixtures run out. I don't suppose they'll be anywhere near as solid under Ange than they were under Nuno either.
