Who are the best players to buy for these final two gameweeks? Whether you're looking to consolidate rank or mini-league position, or chase the maximum upside, we'll cover it all here.
Goalkeepers 🧤

Goalkeepers first and don't worry we'll keep this short and sweet as I'm sure very few of you are looking to spend a transfer there. However, Everton notably play Southampton home at Goodison Park which has Pickford top on 4.1 points. Job done for Southampton in terms of that point vs Man City means they aren't the joint worst team in league history, so Everton will be heavily favoured a clean sheet which of course means the defenders are options as well. They have Newcastle away in GW38 so it's really a one-week option.
For the final two gameweeks overall Raya is top, he's joint second on the table this week with 3.8, though there's nothing in it skimming through the table. Sanchez also on 3.8 with Chelsea home to Man Utd, Martinez, Flekken, Ederson all looking good as well. No clean sheets in their last four looks concerning at a glance, though 4.56 xGC over that run is among the best in fairness. If you're on the Raya and Martinez double up they're neck and neck this week, same with Flekken and Raya pairing, or Raya and Henderson even.
Defenders 🛡️
How about the defenders then?

So a couple Everton players up there, Mykolenko and Branthwaite. Mykolenko scored his first goal of the season last match for an 8 pointer. I'd actually still favour Branthwaite for his aerial threat on every corner and free kick, but both are great for this week. We saw just last gameweek though that even fixtures that look like bankers for clean sheets can go unexpectedly with Leicester putting 2 past Forest.
Cucurella is third on the table with 4 projected points, by far his best goalscoring season yet, he's been great at arriving late in the box on the end of crosses, and given license to shoot outside the box even. Konsa owners - good news he's on the table this week with 3.7 points. Back to back clean sheets for Villa who have Champions League on the line, every game counts and it's Spurs home next who may rotate a bit again before the Europa League final.
Gvardiol and Munoz are both on 3.7 projected points. We're flying blind this week with City and Palace assets who play on Saturday in the FA Cup final. No press conference before the deadline for their GW37 fixture and we'll have to hope our Palace and City assets come through that game okay and start midweek. The likes of Munoz and Gvardiol should be safe anyway as long as fit. Man City have 3 clean sheets in their last 4, or 5 in their last 7. They've really shored up in the second half of the season, it's crazy to think they had that run of 4 losses on the bounce, or extending longer as 6 losses in 8. They're out of that crisis but Champions League not secured yet. I'm back them for another solid performance home to Bournemouth.
Saliba is actually top of all defenders for the final two gameweeks with 7.8 points, though naturally that's weighted towards his GW38 fixture vs Southampton. 3.4 this week, 4.4 the final week. GW37 is a crucial match for Arsenal, if Newcastle beat them they go 2nd.
