Predicted Lineups for ALL 20 Premier League teams: Gameweek 2
Doing the research so you don’t have to! 👨💻
90% accuracy last week ✅
💎🟢🟡🟠🔴 = Likelihood of a start
(%) = Accuracy on previous predictions
🆕 = New players in the lineup
ARSENAL: (91%)
⚠️ Timber, Saliba, Bruno G
Unchanged
Konsa has been added to Arsenal’s defence, but I don’t think he’ll start this one, due to how well the defence played against Coventry
He’s more likely to take Mosquera’s place over White, but he could take either
Bruno G is still a doubt, but things could change over the next 4 days
ASTON VILLA: (82%)
🆕 Suzuki, Bogarde
⚠️ Onana, Manzambi, Gomes, Abraham, Madjo
Suzuki should have had enough time to start
Defence is difficult, Mings is an option, Ruggeri and Wan-Bissaka are new signings for either fullback, I wouldn’t be surprised to see changes
With Gomes out I’d expect Bogarde to start, but Goretzka has been brought in and could be thrown in straight away
Watkins is gone
BOURNEMOUTH: (100%)
🆕 Sanchez, Adams
⚠️ Milosavljevic, Araujo, Soler, Adli, Kroupi
I’d expect Sanchez and Adams to come into the lineup after they weren’t fully fit last weekend
Bournemouth have loaned in goalkeeper Di Gregorio, one to keep an eye on for Petrovic owners
BRENTFORD: (100%)
⚠️ Van Den Berg, Milambo
Unchanged
Brentford rotated almost all their team midweek, Dango and Schade shared 45 minutes
I think Anthony will continue to eat into their minutes, he might even start soon
Diouf hasn’t been announced yet, but expect him to displace Lewis-Potter in the lineup next week
BRIGHTON: (91%)
🆕 Kostoulas
⚠️ Mitoma, Minteh, Hinshelwood, Rutter, Tzimas
Again, tricky, as they are playing right now
Rutter I think misses out, Hinshelwood misses tonight with a small issue, I’m guessing he’ll be back?
Kadioglu is still an unknown, he is on the bench tonight, could be fit enough to start, don’t know at this point
Promise David is the big new signing for Brighton, again like many, I’m guessing he doesn’t start immediately but very well could
CHELSEA: (64%)
🆕 Fofana, Neto
⚠️ Palestra, Enzo, Henderson, Caicedo
Enzo is reportedly refusing to play, impossible to know whether that’s 100% true or not though
Fofana returns from suspension, Neto replaces Gusto
Palestra and Caicedo probably not fit enough to return
COVENTRY: (100%)
🆕 Awoniyi, Rudoni, Mason-Clark
⚠️ Woolfenden, Wright
Rudoni and Mason-Clark return to the starting lineup from injury
New signing Awoniyi immediately impressed midweek and should get the nod
Onyeka vs Yirenkyi vs Grimes vs Torp for 2 positions is tough to nail down
The defence is safe, Thomas and Amenda shared 45 minutes
New signings Cherif (striker) and Pinnock (centre back) will compete for minutes
CRYSTAL PALACE: (73%)
🆕 Khalaili, Tomiyasu, Yeremy
⚠️ Chadi Riad, Sarr
The attack is just a nightmare to call, from all the fan opinions I’ve read none of them are nailed
Khalaili should come in for Munoz who really seems like he’s leaving, but I said this last week, and Mingueza could also start
Tomiyasu comes in for the injured Chadi Riad
Crystal Palace have loaned in Disasi (centre back) and signed Gozo (right winger), neither of which I think come in immediately, but this could be the case
EVERTON: (91%)
🆕 Garner, Johnson
⚠️ Hackney, Norgaard, Iroegbunam
Garner returns as Hackney is a doubt so that swap seems obvious
Ndiaye could have left Everton by the weekend, he’s a risk
The last winger spot is again 1 of 3, this time I’m going Johnson as he impressed midweek
FULHAM: (100%)
🆕 Andersen
⚠️ Cairney
Assuming the only change is Andersen returning from suspension, given the midweek team is almost entirely rotated, the only one who isn’t is Bobb as Fulham lack right wing options
I’m not certain Andersen comes straight back in, and I expect Shea Charles to start in this team soon
HULL: (91%)
⚠️ Butland, Hughes, Matazi, Zambrano, Gyabi, Gelhardt
Unchanged
Mendy, Ajayi and Coyle are all fine despite going off looking in pain
Wouldn’t be surprised to see a back 4 here, with Ajayi I think being the one who drops out, or Millar over Stroud
New signing Cho (right winger) just signed, and won’t start yet
IPSWICH: (91%)
⚠️ Matusiwa, Taylor, Philogene, Florentino
Unchanged
No change in personnel, but a very likely formation change after Hull’s back 5 beat Man United
Fatawu could be Ouattara who is more suited to a right wing back position
LEEDS: (100%)
🆕 Okafor
⚠️ Gudmundsson, Gnonto, Gruev
Like last week, most positions are locked, the main rotation risk is Okafor or Aaronson on the left
Fans seem to be very divided on who Elvedi could replace, he’s going to be backup for now, but given he replaced Bijol midweek I’d say Rodon is more likely to feature
LIVERPOOL: (100%)
