Predicted lineups for ALL 20 Premier League teams: Gameweek 2
Doing the research so you don’t have to! 👨💻
89% accuracy last Gameweek ✅
🟢🟡🟠🔴 = Likelihood of a start
(%) = Accuracy on previous predictions
🆕 = New players in the lineup
⚠️ = Concerns
ARSENAL: (82%)
🆕 Timber, Madueke
⚠️ Nørgaard, Havertz, Jesus
White was absent from Wednesday’s training, making it more likely for Timber to start
Fans think this is a good opportunity to start Madueke, to give Martinelli the Liverpool game
The Eze transfer hasn’t been announced yet, so no way I can predict him to start

ASTON VILLA: (73%)
🆕 Maatsen, Malen
⚠️ Konsa, Garcia, Barkley
With Konsa out, most people would expect a Mings and Pau backline
However, that’s 2 left footers, which Emery does not like, so I reckon Kamara plays centre back, with Onana staying in midfield
Every chance Guessand starts this one, Buendia too, but I’ve gone with Malen (even Emery doesn’t seem to rate him)

BOURNEMOUTH: (100%)
⚠️ Kluivert, Christie, Cook, Sinisterra, Ünal
Unchanged
Semenyo and Brooks can alternate wings throughout the game
Adams plays a far deeper role than Scott
New signings Doak and Aldi will likely be backup options for now

BRENTFORD: (91%)
🆕 Dango, Henderson, Schade
⚠️ Janelt, Nunes, Maghoma
Wissa is back in training for Brentford, which massively impacts Thiago’s chances of a start
Dango starts immediately, with Henderson also starting
Damsgaard returns after being absent for the birth of his child
Left back is a tough call, as Lewis-Potter played there basically all of last season

BRIGHTON: (91%)
⚠️ Webster, March, Enciso
Unchanged
Hurzeler gave positive comments about O’Riley, leaning me to believe he starts again with Welbeck benched
Brighton could always randomly bench someone, you never know

BURNLEY: (91%)
🆕 Bruun Larsen, Ugochukwu
⚠️ Humphreys, Amdouni
Fans felt Bruun Larsen offered a lot more than Mejbri when he came on, so I’ve put him to start
New signing Ugochukwu starts
Anthony has the best minutes of the Burnley attackers, everyone else is a risk

CHELSEA: (91%)
🆕 Estevao, Tosin
⚠️ Colwill, Badiashile, Lavia
Estevao to start, dropping Gittens and moving Neto over to the left
Harsh to drop Acheampong after a decent game, but Tosin is the closest replacement to Colwill that Chelsea have

CRYSTAL PALACE: (100%)
🆕 Devenny
⚠️ Chadi Riad, Eze, Doucoure, Kamada, Nketiah
Obviously, it’s very unlikely Eze features again for Palace, and Devenny is the like for like replacement for him
Other than that, all the same

EVERTON: (82%)
🆕 Grealish, Barry
⚠️ Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Patterson
With Garner filling in at left back, there’s a number of things Everton can do
Grealish likely to start, Alcaraz has been dropped, but it could be Iroegbunam with KDH as an 8
Ndiaye could be left with Grealish central, Aznou could start at left back, a lot of permutations right now!

FULHAM: (91%)
🆕 Sessegnon
⚠️ Robinson, Sessegnon
Sessegnon has been in training, so could be back for this one
Raul/Muniz complete 50/50 now that Muniz is looking likely to stay at Fulham
So many options in the #10 prevent me from being confident with King’s minutes

LEEDS: (91%)
🆕 Bijol, Gruev
⚠️ Ampadu
Ampadu is out, with Gruev the like for like replacement in the side
Okafor could be thrown straight in, but it’s more likely he comes off the bench against Arsenal
Calvert Lewin lowers Piroe’s chances even more

LIVERPOOL: (100%)
🆕 Gravenberch
⚠️ Frimpong, Bradley
Frimpong’s injury made this a lot easier
Szoboszlai is likely to fill in at right back, which leaves spots open for all the usual starters
More confident on Ekitike and Mac Allister starts
A chance it’s Endo or even Gomez at right back, but I doubt it

MAN CITY: (64%)
🆕 Cherki, Rodri, Ederson
⚠️ Gvardiol, Savinho, Kovacic
Rodri and Foden are expected to be back with the squad, and I think Rodri will get this one
There are heavy rumours of Ederson starting in goal, so there’s that at least

MAN UNITED: (82%)
🆕 Sesko, Amad, Onana
⚠️ Martinez, Mazraoui
A lot of picks I can be confident on, but a handful of uncertainties
It’s felt Dalot will play the “big games”, whilst Amad will be used when a more attacking approach is required
Left centre back still not confident

NEWCASTLE: (91%)
⚠️ Willock, Isak
Unchanged
Hall is being eased back into the side
Could see radical changes with a huge game vs Liverpool, not fully confident about the centre backs with Botman and Thiaw both available
Jacob Ramsey is available to use as well

NOTTINGHAM FOREST: (100%)
⚠️ Dominguez
Unchanged
The new signings of Hutchinson, McAtee, Douglas Luiz and Kalimuendo put a lot in the air, but I don’t think any will start right away
Nuno usually kept the 11 consistent after a solid performance

SPURS: (82%)
🆕 Danso, Palhinha, Bentancur
⚠️ Udogie, Dragusin, Takai, Maddison, Solomon, Kulusevski, Bissouma
In typical Frank fashion, we should see a back 5 vs Man City, the same side that faced PSG
Solanke still not up to full fitness, and Frank was high on Richarlison

SUNDERLAND: (100%)
🆕 Alderete
⚠️ Alese, Cirkin, Hjelde, O’Nien, Mundle
Seelt was passed fit, but it’s thought Alderete will come in for him
Aside from that, all the same
The signing of Mukiele lowers Hume’s chances slightly but it’s felt Hume will retain his spot

WEST HAM: (82%)
🆕 Potts
⚠️ Summerville, Guilherme, Earthy
I’d be shocked if Potts doesn’t start, but I have no idea how Potter operates and I think most West Ham fans would agree
Füllkrug might be under threat from Wilson given his poor performance, wouldn’t be surprised to see that change

WOLVES: (82%)
🆕 Arias, Fer Lopez
⚠️ Chiwome
Neither of Wolves’ attacking signings started last weekend
I think they both will this game, but my confidence is much lower
Wolves have their right back in Tchatchoua, 50/50 on whether he starts immediately

Predicted line-ups from FPL Meerkat.
