So what's this double gameweek talk all about?
Well, Crystal Palace have reached the league cup quarter-finals, which clashes with their Europa Conference League fixture. That creates blanks for Arsenal and Palace in GW17, who are scheduled to face Everton and Leeds respectively.
Palace vs Leeds would be extremely unlikely to be rescheduled in the first half of the season, so that would be a double later. However Everton vs Arsenal could be brought forward to the midweek in GW16 creating a double. In a nutshell Arsenal's double would be Wolves home, Everton away, Everton's would be Chelsea away, Arsenal home. Ndiaye might have left for AFCON by then. This may not happen but it's worth mentioning to keep at the back of your head, if you've still got your triple captain and/or free hit this could be a very effective time to utilise the chips.
When will we know? If it happens then we should know by the GW11 deadline.
